Sonic The Hedgehog 3 in Active Development with 2024 Release Date

The third installment of the live action Sonic The Hedgehog film franchise is now in active development with a just-in-time for Christmas release date of December 25, 2024. It’s one of many video game inspired films and TV shows that are currently in development. When Sonic, Tails, and knuckles defeated Robotnik and his Badnik we all thought that Green Hills was safe. But those who watched the end credit scenes for Sonic The Hedgehog 2 know that that wasn’t the end of it. Sonic and friends still have to face what Robotnik’s grandfather Professor Gerald created—Project Shadow.

The film’s plot will begin after the events of the Sonic the Hedgehog sequel when the Chaos Emerald got destroyed. Reportedly, Dr. Robotnik will get his revenge after getting the mini Emeralds and creating his metal version of Sonic and by using Shadow to take him down once and for all! Through an interdimensional portal, Amy, and Big will appear to help. Will the team be able to defeat Robotnik before the world is destroyed!?
