About Legend of Zelda Link to the Past
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is a top-down action-adventure game originally released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). The game is set in Hyrule, and follows Link as he attempts to rescue Princess Zelda from the evil Ganon. Along the way, Link must battle his way through dungeons, solve puzzles, and collect items such as the legendary Master Sword. A Link to the Past is considered by many to be one of the best games in the Legend of Zelda series and was a critical and commercial success upon its release. It has since been re-released on several platforms, including the Wii U Virtual Console.
