CD PROJEKT RED released a new video today covering the latest trailer for Phantom Liberty, the upcoming spy-thriller expansion to Cyberpunk 2077, with keen developer insight into the new adventure’s story and setting. In the video, Narrative Director of Phantom Liberty Igor Sarzyński, together with Senior Communication Manager Paweł Burza go over key scenes of the trailer as they watch it, discussing the events, characters, and locations presented for the first time during the Xbox Games Showcase, including the real-life and genre inspirations behind some of them — all from a set styled after one of the locales players will explore in Phantom Liberty.

In Phantom Liberty, players once again take on the role of V, a cyberpunk for hire, as they embark on a mission to save the President of the New United States of America after her orbital shuttle is shot down over the deadliest district of Night City — Dogtown.
